Mumbai: Asish Varghese directed a short movie ‘Aram Ghar’(Old Age Home) by Pocket Film’s which has a Mother – Son theme. Son’s role is being played by Vijay Badllani, who is a TV actor. The film is planned to be sent to short film festivals. “In the movie, the mother is being kept in old age home for 12 years by his son. One day the mother requests son for some mattresses, fans and fridge as they are already torn or broken. Son offers to shift her somewhere else. The mother reasons that she is used to these things and when her son’s kids will send him in the same place, he will also require it. She won’t be there to take care of him. People send their parents to old age home and don’t realise that they too will end up there one day,” says Vijay Badllani.
