The food festival will re-create the captivating taste of traditional Bengali dishes like Chingri Malai Curry – Fresh River Prawns cooked in Coconut cream, Kosha Mangsho – Lamb cooked in special Bengali masala, Beckti macher Paturi – Mustard flavored steamed Beckti preparation wrapped in Banana leaf, Kacha Lanka Bata Murgi – Bengali style dry Chicken preparation. Vegetarians need not be disappointed as there are appetizing dishes to scintillate your taste buds – Palongshaager Chochchori – Garden fresh Vegetables and Spinach, cooked homestyle with Radooni, Aloo Posto – Potatoes cooked with Poppy seed gravy, Mochar Ghonto – A dry Bengali preparation with Banana flower, Coconut and Potatoes, Narkel Diye Chholar Dal – Bengal gram, tempered with Cumin, Ginger and Coconut shavings.
