Pune: Proving Million Fun Experience at every step, Vodafone India, one of India’s leading telecom service providers is racing ahead with the auditions of the extremely popular ‘Vodafone U- Battle of the Bands’ in Maharashtra and Goa. This music led competition which is reaching out to more than 100 colleges in Maharashtra & Goa is a one-of-its-kind platform for youth bands to showcase their talent.
Auditions in Pune were spread over two days and saw some passionate performances from many participants. With each band giving a tough fight to the other, MH43 (Sanpada College), Into Bracket (FTII), After Acoustic (Pune University), Skrimish (AIISMS), Tashkar (Modern College), and Richman & Co (SIIB). stole the show with their stellar performance and have paved their way to the Grand Finale to be held in Pune on September 18, 2016. The winning band will be awarded a cash prize of Rs1 Lakh along with a host of other exciting goodies.

‘Vodafone U – Battle of the Bands’ has been conceptualized under the Vodafone U umbrella, a unique lifestyle proposition engaging deeper with youngsters on topics and issues that matter to them most such as music, fashion, health, entertainment among others. The month long competition has kicked off with the auditions across six cities – Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Kolhapur and Goa. Shortlisted bands from each city will qualify for a Grand Finale in Pune and get a chance to perform live. In audience will be popular musicians, celebrities and fans.
