Mumbai: As a part of its expansion plans, the Global Destinations brand announced the formation of a new associate company called “Wanderlust”.
Wanderlust is the brain child of Pranav Kapadia and Kajal Somaiya who have a combined experience of 30 years in travel marketing and sales.
Wanderlust will focus on PR & Marketing for International Destinations and Luxury products in India.
The new company will operate independantly with no confilct of interest to the current or future partners of Global Destinations and Wanderlust.
Kajal Somaiya commented “The Indian outbound segment, including luxury, has not only seen an enormous growth but also become an important International source market. Given my 8 years plus experience with NTOs like Maison de la France (now Atout France) & ENIT as well as developing Fiji as a preferred long haul beach destination combined with our ability to handle in-house PR, Wanderlust is an exciting opportunity. We hope it will be as successful as Global Destinations with the unrelenting support of our travel fraternity.”
With regards to the brand and logo concept, Kajal added “The brand resonates with our belief and intent to conquer the world in all directions with the arrows in the logo reiterating that we will go that extra mile for our partners.”
