The Innovation and Technology Transfer Cell of Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture jointly with German International Cooperation (GIZ) and The Ministry of MSME, Government of India has organized a Workshop on “Financing for Innovation” on Tuesday, 26th April 2016 from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm at Hall No. 6&7, MCCIA, Senapati Bapat Road, Pune.
The workshop will create awareness about the available finance schemes for SMEs. With focus on schemes available for innovations, a large number of support scheme and funding program for SMEs are already available; yet accessing these schemes remains major challenges for SMEs. Central and State Government, Ministries & Departments, Bilateral Science and Technology promotion agencies, Development Bank and International Development Agencies offer a range of funding instruments aimed at supporting SME’s pursuit of Innovation.
The Workshop has been designed to enhance understanding about the available funding instruments (subsidy, grant, equity etc.) for financing innovation including the funding opportunities for acquisition of Clean, Green & Energy Efficient Technologies. This platform would provide an opportunity to directly engage with the funding agency.
The workshop will cover the topics like Technology Innovation and Sustainable Development financing schemes by SIDBI and Technology & Research by Global Innovation and Technology Alliance.
