TAP Portugal has been awarded three top accolades at the World Travel Awards Europe Gala Ceremony.
Following a competitive online voting process open to travel professionals and the general public, TAP has been recognised for its long haul services, clinching the prestigious accolades for Europe’s Leading Airline to South America and Europe’s Leading Airline to Africa, for the second year running.
In addition, the airline’s informative and aspirational UP Magazine has won the category of Europe’s Leading Inflight Magazine for the first time.
Luiz Mór, executive director of TAP Portugal, commented: “The fact that TAP has been awarded again in one of the world’s most important ceremonies in the travel and tourism sector, reinforces the efforts made to the continuous development of the product and services we provide in our main markets.
“This year, TAP is also further distinguished by UP, our in-flight magazine which is considered leader in Europe, which fills us with satisfaction and pride.”
Winning these three categories, add to further underpin a celebratory 2015 for TAP as the airline celebrates its 70th year in operation.
From the UK, TAP offers fast and convenient connections to South America and Africa via its main hub in Lisbon.
With up to 65 weekly flights to Brazil, the airline is Europe’s most frequent flyer to South America, providing a gateway to 12 diverse Brazilian destinations for the UK traveller.
