The book is a signature edition containing the essence of Yoga, translated from the compilations of Sage Patanjali. Made from eco-friendly material, this work on Yoga comprises 196 sutras (aphorisms) written in Sanskrit along with translations in English & Hindi, serving as a spiritual guide to navigate through the stress and chaos of modern life. The launch was followed by a fusion of Yoga, classical music and performances by the renowned Parthiv Gohil & Group.
Commenting on the launch, Rana Kapoor, MD & CEO, YES BANK and Chairman, YES Global Institute said, “This book is a sublime, artistic translation of the ‘Yoga-Sutras of Patanjali’, India’s ancient scriptures on yoga. The scriptures have been handed down from one century to another and have immense historical value. While there are innumerable spiritual discourses on yoga, this translation is unique because it combines the vibrancy of our culture with profound messages that provide reflections on ‘spiritual unison’. The magnificent text of ‘Yoga-Sutras of Patanjali’ describes the power of the human mind, once it has achieved complete concentration, attentiveness and is in harmony.”
C. Rajesh, Managing Director, Vedic Cosmos said, “We at Vedic Cosmos embark on a quest to reveal the Vedic wisdom, culture and spiritual heritage in its entirety to the whole world through our timeless masterpieces. Our work is intended to create awareness and stimulate interest in you, encourage you and inspire you to discover the journey of Self-Realization through the ancient scriptures of Sanatana Dharma – The Universal Cultural Heritage that has been existing since time immemorial.”
