Pune: Zee Learn Ltd, India’s “Most Trusted organization in Diversified Education” with over 1500 Kidzee pre-schools is all set for its new endeavour with the launch of Kidzee’s Learning Tab and Zee Learn Pre-school Teacher Training Programme in Pune. Zee Learn Ltd has taken the amalgamation of learning and technology a notch higher; and created Kidzee Learning Tab with curated content chosen/created by academicians and child-experts. Keeping the needs of the fast growing education sector in mind, Zee Learn is also launching the Zee Learn Pre-school Teacher Training Programme. The programme aims at creating quality Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) educators to bridge the existing gap between the number of teachers available and the number required.
Maharashtra is an important market for Kidzee with a total 165 centers across the state, 57 of which are located in Pune. Kidzee Learning Tablet Zee Learn Ltd entered into a technical partnership with Metis Learning (Eddy) to create the unique Kidzee Learning Tablet which is specifically designed and customized for the needs of Early Childhood learning- adding apps and features suitable for age- appropriate easy learning. Kidzee Learning Tablet, with its unique module based learning and gamification approach, can be used by parents and children alike as it has a kid’s mode under which kids can learn while having fun and parents can use it for their needs too. With over 150 million children in the age group of 0-6 years and extremely limited penetration of formal preschools in India, the Kidzee Learning Tablet can augment the learning for children in the early years. The unique content is layered with quizzes for 250 structured modules whereby Children will get an e-certificate on completion. Zee Learn is venturing in the e-commerce space for the first time, by retailing the Kidzee Learning Tablet online on its own website. During the introductory phase the Kidzee Learning Tab is offered at INR 9,999. It would be accessible to the larger consumer to enable their children to learn the Kidzee way.
Zee Learn Pre-school Teacher Training Programme aims at generating quality ECCE educators. India has 158.7 million children in the below six years category as per the Census 2011 and there are not enough teachers to provide education to all of them. Kidzee has been spearheading ECCE space since its inception in 2003 and launching the programme would help imparting the required knowledge to future teachers. This would also enable the leader in preschool education in India to be able to have better trained resources for its network of pre-schools across India. The Programme will be a 3 month course with hands on learning at Kidzee preschools in addition to theoretical learning culminating in an assessment post which the course completion certificates shall be provided by Zee Learn Ltd. It would offer 3 modules – Basic, Advanced and Premium, to ensure a thorough learning for the educators. This Programme shall be delivered both via the offline module and via Online Correspondence, it will have a mandatory 1 month internship at a Kidzee preschool centre.
