A ceramic artistry display with an expanded lineup of artists, diverse pottery forms, and interactive workshops
PUNE: Art lovers can now look forward to a ceramic extravaganza, as the Pune Potters’ Market 2023 is set to return with its third edition this year. Organized by Indranil Garai’s IGA Galleria, this Pottery Fest will take place across two weekends. Firstly from October 20th to 22nd and secondly from October 27th to 29th of October 2023 at The Pavillion Mall on Senapati Bapat Road, Pune.
Entry to the Pune Potters’ Market 2023 is free and open to all. Enthusiasts can visit this ceramic art fiesta from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on both weekends.
Compared to the previous editions, Pune Potters’ Market 2023 will be offering a bigger palate of artists, who are studio potters and specialize in handmade ceramics. A total of 48 artists, 24 on the first weekend and 24 on the second weekend will be displaying an array of artwork in Utility Pottery, Ceramic Sculptures, Murals, Jewellery, and Artifacts. Spread across the country, artists hailing from Pune, Mumbai, Raigad, Mehsana, Bengaluru, Goa, Kolkata, and Ahmednagar will be showcasing their studio ceramic practice in the Pune Potters’ Market 2023.
As pottery counts as one of the oldest and most enduring art forms, the Pune Potters’ Market 2023 will also be hosting interactive pottery painting workshops suitable for all ages.
