Independence Day Festivities

PUNE: The Independence Day celebrations at Forest County, Kharadi, were nothing short of spectacular. The morning began with a disciplined parade by the Gallant Security Service guards, followed by a proud march from our senior citizens – a truly heart-warming sight that set the tone for the day.

After the flag hoisting, a vibrant cultural program unfolded. The tiny tots charmed everyone with their performance on Project Sindoor, Kesari, while our senior citizens rendered a soulful Desh Bhakti song that resonated deeply. Manish Joshi’s lively anchoring, interspersed with fun knowledge questions for children, kept the audience engaged and entertained.

Among the highlights were two remarkable speeches: young Yesha Singh’s thought-provoking take on “Should moral values be given more importance than academic scores?” and Krishav Shukla’s impressive address on “India’s Advancement in Defence & Technology” – both delivered with extraordinary maturity for their age.

Music and poetry added their magic too – a melodious duet by Unnikrishnan & Akshat won an encore, Desh Bhakti songs by our very own Sangeet Sena and FC Sadasya stirred patriotic pride, and Mr. Tarun Jain’s witty poem left the audience in laughter.

The day was a perfect blend of patriotism, talent, and community spirit – a celebration that will remain cherished for a long time to come!
