NAIROBI, KENYA: Greenpeace Africa invites media to the launch of the Inaugural Refill and Reuse Festival, a two-day event (14-15 Nov) convening policymakers, manufacturers, civil society, and communities to showcase sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics and urge the Government of Kenya to set ambitious refill and reuse targets.
The festival at the National Museums of Kenya addresses the growing plastic pollution crisis by demonstrating practical, culturally rooted solutions that create jobs, reduce environmental harm, and cut the billions governments spend on clean up, incineration, and health costs associated with throwaway plastic culture.
