PUNE: Actor and spiritual singer Mugdha Veira Godse presented her first-ever devotional performance in the city with ‘Krsna Vandana’ at Kalagram, P. L. Deshpande Garden, on 23rd November. The post-sunset gathering brought together soulful melodies, meditative chants, and an atmosphere of deep bliss and spiritual connection.

The evening opened with the sacred chant ‘Om Namoh Bhagwate Vasudevaya’, in the special divine melody channelled by her Master Shri Tarneiv ji, followed by Mugdha’s soul-stirring and moving rendition of ‘Krsna Vandana’, this original composition honouring the 108 names and qualities of Lord Krsnaa. The composition, melody, and music, all blessed by her revered spiritual Master, left the audience immersed in pure bliss and gratitude – and ultimately wanting more.

The musical ensemble elevated the experience further. Devotional singer Aviraas and his group presented melodious bhajans and kirtan, while flute maestro Pt. Ravishankar Mishra added a sublime layer of transcendence through his soulful ragas.

The presence of Rahul Dev, co-author of the book ‘Krishna Vandana’ and a core part of Mugdha’s spiritual journey, added depth and warmth to the evening. All guests received the book as a special keepsake, chronicling Mugdha’s devotional path and honouring her revered Master.

A key highlight of the evening was the heartfelt support from the Pune Krsna Vandana family team. Aaviah Sachdev (mother of Aviraas), along with Mugdha’s sister Madura and mother Savita Godse, ensured every attendee felt welcomed and at ease, creating an environment of community, comfort, and grace.

Reflecting on the experience, Mugdha shared, “The collective love and devotion in the air was truly divine. It was as if ‘life came a full circle’ moment for me – performing in the place where I grew up, in front of my family and childhood friends, and people who saw me in a new light. With my Beloved Master’s Grace, the feedback to my new ‘avatar’, if I may term it so, was overwhelming! It’s just the beginning – I have a long way to go. Meanwhile, I am happy, as a sense of achievement heralding a new start, engulfs my space.”

I must mention here that Kalgram’s serene ambience and open, aesthetic architecture made it a perfect setting for a devotional experience of this scale and grace – a space that is poised to become one of Pune’s cultural attractions”, added Mugdha.

Kalagram is a newly curated cultural venue envisioned by educationalist Ms. Pooja Misal, daughter of eminent educationist Smt. Madhuritai Misal offered a picturesque backdrop for the evening. Managed by the Pune Mahanagar Palika, the venue has quickly emerged as a beautiful space designed to celebrate art, culture, and community gatherings.

The evening concluded with prasad distribution, leaving attendees with a sense of spiritual fulfilment, warmth, and lingering devotion.
