Newly eligible candidates must complete registration, online payment, and document submission within separate deadlines
Pune, November 3: Students who have become newly eligible for BSc Nursing admissions in Maharashtra have until 11.59 pm on November 6 to complete online registration and “session apply” for the 2026–27 admission process, according to the State Common Entrance Test Cell’s Notice No. 05.
Mrs. Abeda P. Inamdar, President of Maharashtra Medical Education and Research Centre (MMERC), appealed to students and parents on behalf of Abeda P. Inamdar Nursing College, Azam Campus, Pune.
“No student should lose an opportunity simply because the family missed a deadline. Behind every application is a young person’s hope and a family’s effort. Parents must understand that November 15 is the admission cutoff, not the registration deadline. Please check your child’s application now and complete every required step,” said Mrs. Abeda P. Inamdar.
The notice sets out three separate requirements:
- Registration and session application: Complete by 11.59 pm on November 6.
- Online registration payment: Complete successfully through the official payment gateway by 5 pm on November 7. Candidates are treated as registered only after successful payment.
- Document upload and final submission: Upload colour scans of all required original documents and click “submit” by 11.59 pm on November 7. Uploading files without completing submission is insufficient.
Missing documents can affect consideration under the claimed category or lead to rejection of the application.
The revised qualifying CET percentile has been reduced to zero for the categories listed in the notice. Other admission requirements continue to apply, including appearance in the relevant Nursing CET. Students already registered must not register again.
Eligible candidates can submit the prescribed institutional-round application to the respective colleges from November 8 to November 10, up to 5.30 pm. Registration alone does not confirm admission. Candidates who held a seat at 5.30 pm on October 27, or were admitted through institutional-level Round 1, are excluded from Round 2.
Mrs. Inamdar also encouraged families concerned about financial support to explore scholarship options.
“A student willing to work hard towards a nursing career should have the chance to explore the support available. As a minority institution, Abeda P. Inamdar Nursing College welcomes applications from eligible, committed students. We will make every effort to help them identify suitable scholarships and complete their applications,” Mrs. Abeda P. Inamdar added.
