PUNE: BJP National President J.P. Nadda and BJP National General Secretary (Organization) B. L. Santhosh visited the Shivshrushti project being developed in Ambegaon (Budruk). Shivsrushti is a mega historical park on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj conceptualized by late Padma Bhushan awardee Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare and executed by the Maharaja Shivchhatrapati Prathishthan, Pune.
Maharashtra Bharatiya Janata Party chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule, BJP Pune City President Dheeraj Ghate, former BJP Pune City President Jagdish Mulik, RSS Volunteer Manoj Pochat along with trustees of Maharaja Shivchhtrapati Pratishthan Jagdish Kadam, Vineet Kuber, Sunil Mutalik, Administrator of Shivsrushti Anil Pawar amongst others were present on the occasion.
J.P. Nadda expressed his satisfaction after reviewing Phase I of the project. Taking updates about the development being done in Phase II, he assured financial support from the Central Government and various State Governments for the public opening of the second phase in June 2024. June 2024 marks the 350th anniversary of the coronation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Currently, at Shivshrushti, information on the glorious achievements and the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj can be heard in 4 languages. B. L. Santhosh suggested adding a few more established international languages so that more tourists could get to know the greatness of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
