PUNE: CDK Global Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based software to dealerships and OEMs across automotive and related industries, today celebrated its 8th Family Day, Convergence 2023, at Laxmi Lawns, Pune. The theme of this year’s Convergence is ‘Celebrating the Journey’ to symbolize the accomplishments of CDK employees, along with their families. Over the years, the primary goal of Convergence is to recognize as well as to honor and appreciate the contributions of the CDK Family to the organization’s success and growth.
Convergence 2023 started off with a delectable Hi-Tea and Carnival, followed by Lamp Lighting by the youngest members of CDK India highlighting the importance of young talent at the company. Later a video showcasing the spirit of Convergence was played which kept the audience engaged. The cultural evening was inaugurated with a welcome note addressed by Mr. Arvind Chaturvedi, the Senior Vice President & Managing Director of CDK Global India.
The entertainment programs were assorted in a way that kept the audience pumped throughout the entire event. It started off with a Ganesh Vandana performed by the CDK employees. The theme of the event ‘Celebrating the Journey’ was portrayed in the form of a creative skit, which started with a birth of a baby girl, celebrated in a karaoke performance by the employees. The act went on to be the perfect blend of musicals and dance performances through which the story of raising a girl, her life at school and college, starting her career as a CDK Global employee, and recognition in the real world was depicted in a very engaging and powerful way which was loved by the audience. The MCs, as usual, kept the audience entertained with their funny spoofs and acts which were highly appreciated by the audience.
The event also included the much-anticipated Awards Night, where CDK Global India recognized its employees’ commitment, undying efforts, and outstanding contributions at various levels by presenting them with awards such as Silent Star, Spark, Dronacharya and You Make a Difference where the winners were also honored with trophies in the loving presence of their family members.
The Leaders’ performance was a highly energetic part of the event. The captivating performance by CDK Global’s Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Mr. Arvind Chaturvedi – was the most applauded and alluring performance of the evening, where he tuned in to some of his favorite numbers.
Then the performance by CDK’s in-house band – CDK Unplugged, made the audience groove and lifted their spirits, which was succeeded by the unique Fashion Show which was a perfect exhibit of the various rituals and cultures across India. The evening went on to become one of the most surreal events, of the efforts put together by the CDK Family.
The act was wrapped up with a dance performance – the theme of which was about celebrating moments. The focus of the performance was to demonstrate how CDK as an organization, has put dedicated efforts to ease the work life of its employees. Through its various employee benefits and programs, CDK has surely made it a point to prioritize employee health and wellness and to let their employees experience good work-life balance – which the act, had perfectly put together, through the act lead’s course of life.
The gala night concluded with an entertaining DJ opening the dance floor with all-time favorite hits and making the audience groove to the tunes and simply dance it off. The event was, then, concluded with a scrumptious dinner.
