Emcure Pharmaceuticals Expands Manufacturing Footprint in Gujarat, Inaugurates New Injectables Facility

MEHSANA: Emcure Pharmaceuticals, one of India’s leading pharmaceutical companies, has expanded its manufacturing operations in Mehsana, Gujarat, with the inauguration of a new injectables facility. The facility was inaugurated by Shri. Rushikeshbhai Patel, Honourable Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat. The new plant will manufacture injectables for sale in India and export to global markets.

Emcure Pharmaceuticals has been operating manufacturing facilities across 13 sites in India for decades. The company’s manufacturing facilities are capable of producing pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products across a wide range of dosage forms, including oral solids, oral liquids, injectables, biotherapeutics, and complex APIs. The company has approvals and accreditations from various regulatory authorities such as EDQM, Health Canada, USFDA, ANVISA Brazil, and more.

The new manufacturing plant in Mehsana will create additional job opportunities in the local market. Speaking on the occasion, Satish Mehta, Founder and CEO, of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, said, “The new Mehsana facility represents our continued investment in Gujarat, aligning with our vision to bring solutions to address the unmet medical needs and improve patient outcomes globally.

Emcure Pharmaceuticals is proposing an initial public offering of its equity shares subject to receipt of requisite approvals, market conditions, and other considerations. The company has filed a draft red herring prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
