PUNE: Nibe Limited a pioneering name in manufacturing critical systems for the defense sector, stood as a cornerstone of the inaugural Maharashtra MSME Defense Expo 2024, significantly contributing to its remarkable success. As the knowledge partner, Nibe Limited played a central role in orchestrating an event that exceeded all anticipations, establishing new benchmarks for collaboration and innovation within the defense sector.

With a strong participation of over 400 MSMEs and an impressive showcase of more than 300 stalls, the expo provided a vibrant platform for fostering growth and development within the MSME ecosystem. Notably, the event witnessed an overwhelming turnout of 60,000 students, underscoring the importance of nurturing entrepreneurship and innovation among the youth.

With the aim of making the Indian Defense Sector Atmanirbhar, the event was inaugurated by the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri. Devendra Gangadharrao Fadnavis, in the presence of, Minister for Industries Maharashtra, Shri. Uday Samant; Higher and Technical Education Minister, Maharashtra Shri. Chandrakant Patil and Shri. Harshdeep Kamble, Principal Secretary, Industries and Mining, Maharashtra.

The defense expo was also attended by esteemed dignitaries, including Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari PVSM AVSM VM ADC Chief of Air Staff, Admiral R Hari Kumar PVSM AVSM VSM ADC Chief of Naval Staff, Army Chief General Manoj Pande PVSM AVSM VSM ADC Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General J.B Chaudhary PVSM SM VSM, and Major General C. S Mann Additional Director General Army Design Bureau. They recognized Nibe Limited’s efforts and role in facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration between MSMEs, Tri-services, DPSUs, DRDO, and large corporates. They reaffirmed the company’s leadership in driving industry-wide initiatives. Furthermore, the expo was the brainchild of Nibe Limited which created a unique ecosystem bringing major stakeholders under one roof in Maharashtra.

The groundbreaking event achieved many milestones including Nibe Limited signing multiple MOU to strengthen the Indian Defense Sector under land, aerospace, and maritime applications including MOU for manufacturing of ammunition for export with Munitions India Limited.

The brand also showcased its diverse product line in three broad segments – Defense, Electronics and Electronic Vehicles. The Defense category included Modular bridge, Pinaka launcher, MRSAM, Canister, Fin, small arms, mortar shells and Propeller components. The Electronic display has a line-up of Drones, Ruggedised Panel PCs with Consoles, Fuel cells, Ethernet switches, MDP+LVJB+JC+PDU (modular bridge) and communication equipment.
