NEW DELHI: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced the debut of Spectre, the first fully electric ultra-luxury super coupe, in North India. The world’s first ultra-luxury electric super coupe is set to revolutionize the luxury car market, catering to the growing demand for luxury among India’s ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs). With strong interest and demand worldwide, Spectre ushers in a new era for Rolls-Royce in the region.
Spectre represents a promise made, a prophecy kept, and a remarkable undertaking. The all-electric super-coupe is highly contemporary in design, with a bespoke interior, true engineering substance, and innovation. It is perfectly suited to electrification, and by the end of 2030, Rolls-Royce’s entire product portfolio will be fully electric.
Rolls-Royce has a long-standing connection with electric technologies, with co-founder Charles Rolls prophesizing an electric future for the motor car in 1900. In 2011, Rolls-Royce showcased a fully electric Experimental Phantom concept named 102EX, followed by 103EX, a dramatic design study that anticipated a bold electric future for the marque.
Spectre has completed a highly demanding testing program, spanning 2.5 million kilometers, and was unveiled to the world at the Home of Rolls-Royce in West Sussex, England, in October 2023. The response from across the globe has been overwhelmingly positive.
Spectre’s pricing in India starts from INR 7.5 Crore (ex-showroom), and Rolls-Royce cars are bespoke and built to customer specifications. Spectre ownership includes a four-year warranty, unlimited mileage (unless the car is for commercial use), a 10-year warranty for the battery, service inclusive covers maintenance costs, fewer consumables, 24/7 roadside assistance, and more.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars New Delhi is showcasing Spectre to clients, providing a look into Rolls-Royce’s electric future. The world’s first ultra-luxury electric super coupe is on a regional tour, and its first client deliveries are set for the fourth quarter of 2023.
