Suzuki Motorcycle India Offers Free Service Support to Flood-Hit Customers in Chennai

INDIA: Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, has announced free service support for its customers in Chennai who were affected by the recent floods. The company has activated its dealer network in Chennai and other affected towns to provide a free comprehensive checkup of flood-affected vehicles. Additionally, SMIPL will also offer free replacement of specific consumables such as engine oil, engine oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, and spark plug if they have been impacted by the flood. These services are open to Suzuki Motorcycle customers in Chennai until the end of the month.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director, of Suzuki Motorcycle India said, “Cyclone Michaung has had a severe impact on the lives and belongings of people as the affected cities got flooded. As a measure to mitigate the impact this may have had on some of our customers’ vehicles, we have announced a Special Service Campaign under which we are offering a comprehensive check-up apart from substantial support on labor and spare parts depending upon the severity of the impact each vehicle has had to withstand. We sincerely hope that this initiative will not only reduce the financial impact of vehicle repairs but will also speed up the restoration of mobility for our customers at the earliest.
