The Indian film industry has grown by leaps and bounds over the last few decades. With the advent of cable television, internet streaming services, and social media, Bollywood has been able to reach viewers all over the world. This constant exposure to Bollywood films has helped them gain a lot of traction in Western markets as well as other Asian countries.

In fact, more people are watching Bollywood movies than ever before. Audiences continue to grow with every passing year. That being said, here are the top Bollywood movies of 2022.

Gangubai Kathiawadi

The lovely movie by Mr. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi.

The film tells the tale of a girl who is forced into the prostitute trade and how she eventually triumphs and seizes the hearts of everybody. She battles through every obstacle that arises.

The first half of the movie was extremely wonderful, but the second half dragged on. However, the Climax brought the movie to a satisfying conclusion.

Ajay Devgan has a cameo role but really nicely played his role, and Vijay Raaz has a small but important role. However, Alia Bhatt steals the show as far as acting is concerned. She adapted the character so nicely, it makes you feel like this story was written for her alone, smooth and easy.

You must enjoy watching cricket matches if you enjoy watching Bollywood movies. If so, go to this link: https://pari-match.in/en/page/cricket-australia-vs-west-indies.

Jersey

It is a very motivating sports film. One of Shahid Kapoor’s strongest performances to date, acting-wise. Even someone who knows nothing about cricket will be inspired by the film’s stunning moments, background music, and sound design.

It was a wonderful family movie from beginning to end; not even one second was wasted in delivering the plot. Each performer performed perfectly. The amazing story, directing, and unraveling of each scene was beautifully original. It’s a feel-good movie, and people will watch it often in the years to come.

Jalsa

Jalsa is a gripping human tale with thrilling aspects. It discusses a variety of global issues. The presentation of the fragility and susceptibility of human behavior and life is very subtly yet well done. It recognizes the full spectrum of human emotions, including regret, sadness, wrath, and corruption.

Vidya Balan portrays prominent journalist Maya Menan as a confident, morally upright woman. But one event alters everything. You can feel the terrible remorse tearing her from within as she attempts to conceal the actual truth behind her quiet.

On the other hand, Shefali Shah’s portrayal of Ruksana, Maya’s chef, shows her to be a simple woman with a kind heart.

Sharmaji Namkeen

All the necessary components for a feel-good movie are there in Sharmaji Namkeen. The final act of Rishi Kapoor is a wholly authentic performance that, had he finished it, would have been a big-budget movie based on his own performance. The eclectic group of the Kitty Party reveals to us the essence of metropolitan life, which is essentially the same in all metros.

Paresh Rawal as a replacement Sharmaji gets a special mention since it is unheard of in movies for another actor to pick up the unfinished role of a deceased soul and make it a livelier one with spunk rather than ruining it.

Retirement almost surely causes a person to get bored with life because of the mental strain caused by not having a daily hectic schedule, obligations, or both.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Clearly, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is much, much better. The prior one had a fantastic cast and a surprising psychological twist, but this one lived up to expectations and is really worth watching. The whole way through, it completely holds your attention. This film is an excellent synthesis of horror and comedy.

The role that Tabu plays in the film is the best part, and it genuinely makes you wait until the very end. Kartik Aryan has certainly distinguished himself after playing this enjoyable and comical part.

Jhund

The finest recent films include this one.  Actor Bacchan gives a superb performance in the Vijay Barse biography. The film depicts how the lives of slum children go from being drug and alcohol addicts with a criminal past to representing India in an international soccer competition.

The mesmerizing soundtrack of Ajay Atul and Nagraj Manjule’s directorial Bollywood debut makes this a tremendously inspirational sports biography. Don’t condemn the impoverished, disadvantaged youngsters of slums based on their language, personalities, or criminal backgrounds, this is a powerful social message that the movie sends to society.

Conclusion

With a huge and dedicated following, Bollywood is the largest film industry in the world. The movies produced there tend to be more melodramatic than other films and often combine romance, comedy, tragedy, action-adventure, and music into one movie.
