The information about all the toilets in 39 branches of Cosmos Bank across Pune City has been added to the App
PUNE: ToiletSeva, a social initiative dedicated to improving access to clean toilets has partnered with Cosmos Bank, one of India’s leading banking institutions to address a crucial issue faced by millions of individuals across the country. Recognizing the importance of maintaining cleanliness and health, Cosmos Bank has taken a significant step toward fostering public cleanliness by making information on toilets in 39 branches across Pune City accessible through the Toilet Seva app.
To launch took place at Cosmos Bank’s head office on University Road in attendance was Mrs. Apikshita Thipsey, Managing Director of Cosmos Bank, and Amol Bhinge, the visionary behind Toilet Seva. This facility is exclusively available to Cosmos Bank employees, reflecting the bank’s commitment to the well-being of its staff and the larger community. By collaborating with Toilet Seva, Cosmos Bank aims to create a lasting impact on public health and sanitation.
This initiative between Cosmos Bank and Toilet Seva marks a significant milestone in the pursuit of clean and accessible public toilets in India. By harnessing technology and fostering a collective responsibility towards public hygiene, the partnership aims to improve the overall quality of life for individuals across the nation. ToiletSeva has also recently joined hands with Zilla Parishad (ZP), Pune Municipal Corporation(PMC), and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) to track and maintain the cleanliness of public and community toilets in our city.
Designed and focused solely on outdoor toilets, the Toilet Seva app can be downloaded free of charge on both iOS and Android platforms. It offers user-friendly functionality in three languages: Marathi, Hindi, and English. The app currently boasts a vast database of over 130,000 toilets across India, providing detailed information on each facility, including its location and available amenities. Notably, the Toilet Seva app generates a unique QR code for every toilet, enabling users to scan the code within the app to access the toilet’s dashboard and obtain comprehensive information.
