NEW DELHI: Driven by the overwhelming queries from Indian students, Education in Ireland – the Irish government’s national brand promoting Irish Higher Education Institutions’ is all set to organize its first post-pandemic in-person Education Fair in New Delhi. The relaunch of on-ground fairs comes with a plethora of opportunities for its attendees and will offer key insights to Indian students looking forward to studying abroad for the academic year 2023-2024.

The fair will be conducted in New Delhi at The Lalit Hotel on 19th November from 11 am to 4 pm wherein 16 leading Irish HEIs will be present to address, discuss, respond to queries, speak about programs available, intakes, offer acceptance, campus life, accommodation, international student support, scholarships, culture and more under one roof without the hassle of hiring an agent. Other than New Delhi, Education in Ireland fairs will also be organized in Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru.

Ireland has been at the forefront of welcoming international students to the country. It assures an established career for all students and offers a greater ROI to Indian students, unlike any other study-abroad destination. Talking about the fairs, Mr. Barry O’Driscoll, Regional Manager, India & South Asia for Education in Ireland said, “The in-person education fairs are happening after a gap of two years and as we re-commence the fairs across different cities in India, we aim to provide an opportunity for the students to find the right courses and job prospects by interacting face-to-face and directly with representatives of Irish higher education institutions. The fairs will help the students get informed of all the opportunities and prospects that Ireland has to offer.”

In recent years, Ireland has been witnessing a surge in demand for offbeat courses along with courses like mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, biotechnology, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, cyber security, accounting/finance, and MBA.
Mr. O’Driscoll further added, “We have seen an increased interest of Indian Students in Ireland and the courses the HEI’s offer. Over 5000 Indian students choose Ireland as their study abroad destination at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. One of the key advantages of studying in Ireland is that students can avail of up to two years of ‘stay-back’ options after completing their course, at the postgraduate level. This guarantees students the opportunity to remain in Ireland for a period of one year to seek employment in dynamic sectors.”
The consistency of the Irish Education system to rank amongst the top 10 across the globe, makes Ireland a go-to destination for students aspiring for a comprehensive career. Ireland offers one of the most stable, secure, and pro-business economies thus making a perfect blend for students looking for career growth and a great standard of living.

The fairs will provide a free platform for all students to interact, gauge their prospects, apply directly to the below-mentioned leading Irish institution, and receive first-hand information on courses, the admission process, job opportunities, campus recruitment, scholarships, intakes, and so on.
