True Beacon, launched by Zerodha’s Nikhil Kamath, strengthens partnerships and strategic value creation for UHNIs and HNIs, as Abhijeet Pai joins as General Partner
PUNE: Abhijeet Pai, a Hyderabad-based entrepreneur, and industrialist, today joined the founding team of True Beacon as a General Partner. As Co-Founder, Abhijeet will forge new partnerships, help expand the client product suite, and focus on originating and executing private deals for True Beacon’s client base. His induction to the company further increases the strategic value opportunities offered to True Beacon clients who are currently investing in Alternative Investment Funds, Portfolio Management Services, or taking advantage of advisory capabilities.
True Beacon was launched in Bangalore in 2019 by Nikhil Kamath, the Co-Founder of Zerodha, together with Richard Pattle, the former global Vice Chairman of Standard Chartered Private Bank. Initially offering Category III Alternative Investment Funds, the company has added an Equity Factor Quant PMS strategy to its product suite, in addition to bespoke wealth management. The company is founded on a client-aligned fee model, capital markets expertise, and differentiated strategic value creation by connecting over 500 clients across geographies and industries.
Abhijeet Pai is part of the family behind the Puzzolana Group, an industry leader in the mining, metallurgy, construction, and engineering sectors. Pai has an active role and interest in the Group’s engineering and manufacturing services, as well as their status as a ‘solution partner’, in which they cater fast-moving consumer goods to a number of industries. Pai co-founded Gruhas Proptech with Nikhil Kamath in 2021, to bring tech-based innovation to the construction and real estate sectors through startup investment. Pai has a particular background in private equity transactions, venture capital, special situations, and listed entities.
