MUMBAI: Released on 21st April 2023 by PVRINOX Pictures in India, Makoto Shinkai’s latest anime masterpiece “Suzume” showcasing hope and restoration, has crossed a whopping INR 10 Crore at the Indian Box Office and became the top Japanese film released in India. “Suzume” was eagerly anticipated by anime lovers, all over the country. It’s the story of a 17-year-old girl, who is set in various disaster-stricken locations across Japan, where she must close the doors causing devastation. With Makoto Shinkai’s unique storytelling and breathtaking visuals, the film has managed to captivate Indian audiences and left a lasting impression. ‘Suzume” is a magical journey that has enchanted audiences of all ages.
