PUNE: BJP leader Madhavi Latha visited Shivsrushti at Narhe- Ambegaon today on the 350th anniversary of the Coronation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Speaking to the gathering here she said, “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was a source of inspiration to many in his times and will continue to inspire generations to come. Projects like Shivsrushti help take great leaders like Shivaji Maharaj closer to the general audience in a much simpler and more effective way than making them read a book or an article on him.”
“I will use my experience at Shivsrushti to propagate Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his great works in my constituency. The biography of a worrier like Shivaji Maharaj starts when we think of the end of all possibilities. Recently when I was contesting Lok sabha elections from Hyderabad many cautioned me and told me that it’s an unconquerable fort. to which I used to reply that If Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj can escape from the Agra fort of Aurangzeb to create Swaraj then anything is possible. Now the people have started saying that the established candidate of Hyderabad is beatable”, she added.
Trustees of Maharaja Shivchhatrapati Pratishthan- Amrut Purandare, Vineet Kuber, General Secretary- Dr Ajit Apte, Administrative Officer, Shivsrushti- Anil Pawar were present on the occasion along with Manoj Pochat and Jayant Pawar.
Shivsrushti is a mega historical theme park in Narhe- Ambegaon based on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, conceptualized by the Late Padma Vibhushan Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare being developed by the Maharaja Shivchhatrapati Pratishthan.
