PUNE: The Khadki Education Society’s Vaidehi Dattaji Gaikwad Junior College is set to be inaugurated next month. The three-storied building, constructed using high-quality materials and furniture, boasts 33 spacious classrooms, a fully functional IT lab, fully equipped chemistry, biology, and physics labs, and a spacious library. The building also has two elevators, ample parking, and an open space in the middle for student events and activities.
The Vaidehi Dattaji Gaikwad Junior College is the only English medium junior college in the surrounding area and will offer 11th and 12th Arts, Commerce, and Science education. The institute has been serving children from underprivileged communities of the Dapodi, Bopodi & Khadki areas, providing them with a safe, secure, and good learning environment.
The Chetan Dattaji Gaikwad English Medium School, which has completed 16 years, is a part of the Khadki Education Society and provides education from Nursery to Junior College. The school has a total of 47 staff, including 38 teachers and support staff. The institute provides an enthusiastic environment to celebrate learning by developing leadership qualities of students and lays emphasis on information technology and robotics through its STEM program.
Krishnakumar Goyal said “The spacious modern new state-of-the-art building will be inaugurated next month. This is the only English medium junior College in the surrounding area. The three-storied building has a total of 33 spacious classrooms with 11 rooms on each floor, it has a fully functional IT lab,fully equipped chemistry, biology, and physics labs, and a spacious library. Dattaji Gaikwad built the premises of very high standards, using high-quality materials and furniture. The classroom size allows 80 students to sit comfortably in a classroom. The building has two elevators, ample parking, and an open space in the middle of the building for student events and activities. This building provides students with very high-quality learning facilities.“
The Khadki Education Society is a 110-year-old trust with its oldest school known as Alegaonkar School. The society comprises Tikaram Jagannath Senior College, Tikaram Jagannath Junior College, Tikaram Jagannath Vocational Department, Smt Chandrakala Kishorilal Goyal Junior College, Alegaonkar Secondary School, Smt Gulbai Mulook Irani Girls’ School, Alegaonkar Primary School, Chetan Dattaji Gaikwad English Medium School, Vaidehi Dattaji Gaikwad Jr. College, Smt. Shakuntala Hemraj Mutha Art College, Smt. Pramilabai Pannalal Munot Balwadi, and Khadki Education Society’s Ratraprashala.
