Suta has opened a new store in Pune at Unit B, Lower Ground Floor, Shankar Bhavan, Plot No. 1, S No.-128/1, Below Burger King Outlet, Paud Road, Kothrud, Pune – 411038. Suta has also recently launched new stores in Mumbai, Thane, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bhubaneswar, and a pop-up store has been launched in Delhi by the end of 2023.
Sujata Biswas, Co-founder of Suta Said “Pune store is Suta’s 7th store in the financial year FY2024, after Kolkata, Thane, Hyderabad, Chennai, BBSR, and Delhi. We are looking to expand further in Pune in the coming years and our medium to long-term plan is to expand our offline presence in Pune by opening another 2 to 3 stores. The turnover of the company in 2023 – 2024 is estimated at 80cr + with an estimated valuation of 425 cr.”
True to the brand’s ethos, this store too will reflect a mix of local influences and Suta’s signature earthy aesthetic. “We’ve used soothing stone-finish floors, traditional lamps, and wooden accents to add a warm, inviting vibe to the store’s interiors. As an ode to this beautiful city, we’ve also added wada-inspired arches to the storefront. Our goal is to always incorporate as many local elements as we can, with immaculate attention to detail. After all, this store is a sanctuary for all our Suta Queens – a space they can luxuriate in, shop for hours, and feel completely at home,” adds Taniya Biswas, co-founder of Suta.
The Pune store will house the brand’s bestselling collections, as well as its more recent luxurious launches that are perfect for the ongoing wedding season. “We’re so excited to open our doors to Pune in time for the Makar Sankranti festivities. We’re planning several store-specific events, including workshops, meet-and-greets, parties, and much more, to foster the wonderful Suta community in Pune.
