The company has introduced a ‘Cash-on-Delivery’ (COD) service for travel bookings, specifically for senior citizens and non-tech-savvy customers. This initiative aims to simplify travel planning and payment processes, offering a more convenient and secure way to book travel.

The COD service will be available for all travel bookings made through the udChalo website and mobile app, including flights and vacations. Senior citizens in Pune can now choose the COD option at checkout and pay for their bookings in cash upon delivery of their tickets at their doorstep. This eliminates the need for online payments or using debit/credit cards, providing a more familiar, secure, and comfortable payment method for many senior citizens.

Moreover, this service will be managed by army veterans for whom the company will aggressively hire ex-defense personnel PAN India. This will help create reemployment for retired army veterans.
