PUNE: Suhana Spices Warehouse, Yavat, Pune, was awarded the prestigious provisional Net Zero Energy Certification by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), in Chennai last month. This project, which was conceptualized and designed by Anand Chordia, ranked first in the country under the Warehouse and Industrial Category. The Net Zero Energy Certification is a testament to the Suhana Spices team’s commitment to environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and the community’s overall well-being. This achievement underscores the company’s dedication to creating spaces that not only meet the highest standards of quality and design but also contribute positively to the environment.
“Suhana Spices Warehouse follows the basic principles of Reduce, Regenerate, Renew, and Repurpose and stands completely on renewable sources of energy generation, runs 100% on solar power for building and process requirements”, expressed Anand Chordia, Director, of Technology & Innovation, Suhana Spices, and Founder, The Eco Factory Foundation (TEFF).
